Havaianas IPE are designed to help preserve nature. A partnership between Havaianas and the Ecologic Research Institute(IPE) was set up in 2004. 7% of Havaianas-IPE sales are donated to projects that contribute to the preservation of the Brazilian Rainforest, the Amazon and the Pantanal.

This sandal is dedicated to the Margay (Leopardus wiedii). This is a small feline with great leaping power and great ability to walk on trees and shrub branches. As one of the most difficult species to observe in nature, it is classified as vulnerable to extinction.
